interesting couple of weeks to say the least. I am not able to post the clips at the moment but will do at the next opportunity.
To cut a loñg story short  I was having a great time here in the mountains of northern spain until disaster struck.
I misjudged a dark country lane just outside a small village near pamplona and found me and the trike off the road and down a steep bank into a field.
The locals caught wind and within twenty minutes me and the trike were back in the village. in the morning it didnt take me long to realise the trike was a complete write off. The only thing that was undamaged was the solar panel. the frame was completely twisted. I was in two minds. ditch it and walk away or go for a rebuild.
The locals rallied round and before you know it I had my own little house to stay in, well a room with a toilet and a big yard. I was leant an angle grinder a drill an arc welder. My lower back to a bit of a knock and i was quite slow for a few days but i got on with it. Andonni, one of the guys from the village and you could say the kingpin of the operation coordinated his friends and helped me throughout the job and his mum even dressed my minor cuts.
These guys were pro. having no experience with arc welding a guy called yis did the job, but there was no time to mess around and so i had to chop, straighten, design very quickly. Throughout the 11 days i was there i was looked after by everybody. The generosity and friendliness of these people was phenomenal and the end result was me riding out on a machine very similar to the other although i have made the front smaller and the back narrower. It rides better but doesnt carry as much as before. To be honest i am going to have to do some ongoing work to get it totally how i want it but it gives me something to do.
It looks funky though.
Just busked all day in pamplona and have full stock and forty euros so i am back where i was two weeks ago.
I am looking forward to posting the clips so you can see for yourself the kind of time I have had in Spain including a full documentary of the rebuild.
In two days a guy called Denis is going to drive from southern France with a package sent to his house by lovelo containing 5 new spare gears  and bits and bobs which will help keep me going until i get the chance to try another idea i have for the drive system.
Big thanks to team lovelo for the back up and support and also to all the people of Tajonar who have just put me back on track.
Also scanning my emails there are a lot of messages which i would like to reply to, however now is not the time as I want to get into the countryside before it gets dark.
So, hello to all and especially my Bro Anthony. Happy birthday, sorry I missed it.
I will try and upload very soon.
